Raburn and Reese’s journey began in the summer before their freshman year at Baylor University, when they met at Freshman orientation. Neither of them suspected then that this chance meeting would grow into a lifelong love story.

Freshman year brought its fair share of challenges, but through every hardship, their bond only grew stronger.

Reese and Raburn have made their walk in Christian faith a priority from the start, far before they were even in a relationship. They attended multiple churches in the Waco area until they found one that suited them best. Since then, prayer and study of scripture have served a crucial role in their time spent together.

Throughout their relationship, they have shared many passions and traditions. Trivia competitions became a favorite activity, fueling their love for friendly challenges. Movie nights—both in theaters and at home—turned into cherished rituals. Reese’s love for baking has meant homemade birthday cakes for Raburn year after year, while Raburn’s love for cooking has filled their shared time with delicious meals.

What makes their love truly special is their deep understanding of each other and their shared perspective on life. Even in moments of disagreement, they have always found peace through patience, respect, and unwavering support.
